Font design
DMJX school project: This font is made special for the Shahnama exhibition at the danish museum Davids Samling for the additional text on the walls. The main focus on this task were readability and identity, so it was all about the balance between these aspects and therefor it should be possible to use it as both display and body text. The design is inspired from the Persian calligraphy which the exhibition is originated from. It's specific parts that the font is based on from the Persian calligraphy. I have used the same technique: the broad nip pen, I have used the soft curves and the rhombus shape. Besides that, I wanted a fairy tale vibe because this exhibition is Persian fairy tales. So, with that in mind I merged all these aspects, and this is the final design.
